Red Hawk Golf Course offers championship golf located by Metro Verde, a high-desert planned community in the northeast part of Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Red Hawk has been consistently awarded the Golf Digest Best In State 2013-2015. This award-winning golf course was designed by Cal Olson, an internationally-known architect with courses from Singapore to Canada. The Sonoma Ranch Golf Course is a championship course with rolling hills strewn with bunkers, and is known for its unique bent grass greens. The course is set up with five tee boxes and offers a challenge for all levels of golfer.

Picacho Hills Country Club, a Sun Country Amateur Golf Association Club of the Year, is set on the west mesa of Las Cruces.  Play golf with panoramic views of the Mesilla Valley. This award-winning country club course has been recognized for strong support of area tournaments, governance of the organization, hosting of association tournaments and seminars, and contributions to junior golf in the community.  Picacho Hills’ 18-hole championship course has been host to PGA Tour and United States Open Qualifiers. New Mexico State University Golf Course is located on the campus of New Mexico State University (NMSU) at the foot of “A” Mountain. The NMSU golf course is the home of the university’s PGA Golf Management program, making this facility one of the best in the Southwest. Measuring over 7000 yards from the “Aggie Tees,” the golf course provides a challenge to golfers of all skill levels with a wonderful array of holes ranging in difficulty from the very challenging to those that provide good birdie opportunities. The established neighborhoods near the NMSU golf course are the best-kept secret in Las Cruces with easy access to the NMSU campus activities. You can get to just about any part of Las Cruces in 10 to 15 minutes with easy interstate access. El Paso and El Paso International Airport is just 45 minutes away from this area of the city.
